Luke 21:7-9
New English Translation

7 So[a] they asked him,[b] “Teacher, when will these things[c] happen? And what will be the sign that[d] these things are about to take place?” 8 He[e] said, “Watch out[f] that you are not misled. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’[g] and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them! 9 And when you hear of wars and rebellions,[h] do not be afraid.[i] For these things must happen first, but the end will not come at once.”[j]
